Known officially as the World Assemblies of God Fellowship, this group of more than 150 loosely associated and autonomous churches comprise the largest Pentecostal denomination. The origins of the denomination are found in the early 20th century Pentecostal Revival, and the Assemblies of God were founded in 1914. The worldwide fellowship was not formed until 1988. They believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues.
