Actor Elijah Wood was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on January 28, 1981 to parents who owned a deli. He was a model at the age of seven and did local television commercials and had small parts in numerous films. It was when he was cast as Frodo Baggins in "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" that he came to global attention. He has had a record label, Simian Records, since 2005. He has never been married.
