The British rock band called Pink Floyd was founded in 1965 by Roger Waters, Syd Barrett, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright. With hit albums including The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, The Wall, and A Momentary Lapse of Reason, they became wildly popular and were inducted into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996. The band remained active until 1994. They reformed in 2013 and in 2014, after a 20-year hiatus, they have collaborated on a new album, "The Endless River."
