Born in Conyers, Georgia on February 23, 1994, actress Dakota Fanning was the youngest person in history to be nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award, having done so at the age of eight for her role in "I Am Sam." Her father, Steven, played minor league baseball and her mother, Heather, played professional tennis. She was five when she got her first television role in the TV series ER. Dakota, the older sister of Elle Fanning, has been dating Jamie Strachan, a model, since 2013.
