The English rock band Coldplay was founded in 1996 in London. They formed using the name Pecoralz, but soon changed the name of the band to Starfish. In 1998, just before releasing their EP "Safety," they changed it again to Coldplay. They became world famous in 2000 with their single "Yellow."
