The village of Endicott is situated in Broome County, New York. It was named in honor of Henry B. Endicott, one of the founders of the Endicott Johnson Corporation shoe manufacturing company who founded the community. It was made up of the village of Union, which is now the historic business district, and Endicott. In 1921, the two were merged into Endicott.
