Mullica Township, New Jersey is located in Atlantic County. The river, as well as the township of Mullica is named in honor of an early settler from Finland, Eric Mullica, a Finnish plantation owner who settled on the river in 1636. Later, he moved to Mullica Hill. The township was officially begun on February 21, 1838, having been made up from parts of much of the Town of Hammonton and part of Egg Harbor City.

This weblog was started by a man named Larry Angel in 2003, when the town had no newspaper, televised or internet committee meetings, and no newsletter. The purpose of the blog was to keep locals appraised of upcoming meetings and events as well as local news and was a place where people could discuss those things. He died in May of 2008, but the blog lives on.
