The beachfront city of Sausalito, in Marin County, California is near the northern terminus of the Golden Gate Bridge. It is also the starting point for the famed Sausalito ferry. It is a community of the wealthy and the artistic, and the homes in this residential community include numerous houseboats. It gets its name from the Spanish word “sauzalito”, which means “small willow grove”.
