The city of Burbank, California, is situated in Los Angeles County. It is called the Media Capital of the World, due to the presence of headquarters belonging to Warner Bros., Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network Studios, NBC Universal, ABC, and the Walt Disney Company. It became nationally known due to two television shows, Laugh-In and the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, both of which featured the phrase “beautiful downtown Burbank.”
