Sensory processing disorder is a neurological disorder which causes trouble with the intake, processing, and response to sensory information about the world from within one's own body, (i.e., visual, auditory, olfactory, tactile, gustatory, vestibular, and propioception).In such people, sensory information is received, but it is not processed.
