Adventism is the denomination of which the Seventh-day Adventists are the largest communion in the Advent denomination. They get their name due to the fact that they believe in the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. This belief is commonly shared by other Protestant denominations, but that theology of the Adventist differs in issues of heaven, hell, and immortality. They also believe that between death and the resurrection of the dead, there is no consciousness, so death is like unconscious sleep.
