Jennifer Love Hewitt was born on February 21, 1979 in Waco, Texas to a mother who was a speech pathologist and a father who was a medical technician. She started out in commercials, including a few for Mattel, and she broke into television in the Disney Channel's variety show called Kids Incorporated. After numerous roles in television and in movies, she became known in her television series Ghost Whisperer. She and her husband, Brian Hallisay, have a daughter named Autumn.
