The monotheistic religion of Sikhism, established in Punjab, India in the 15th century by Guru Nanak. The faith is not concerned with eternal life in heaven, or hell. Instead, it is based on a spiritual union with God which brings salvation. The primary stumbling blocks, according to Sikhism, are attachment to worldly things and social conflicts.
